2K a year The Manufacturing Plant Associate will assist with the daily transactions associated with the manufacturing division of the company, ensuring the effective and efficient use of facilities and staff.
Responsibilities:
Participates in the physical inventory, assign work, set up the production schedule, assist with the daily operation of producing goods.
Participates with schedules and assignments.
Conducts evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Conducts time studies on the production of operators, operations, and methods of work.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Helps to oversee the manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
Review production reports ensuring safety, quality, and delivery goals and standards are met.
Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with federal and state regulations, through collaboration with environmental, health, and safety staff.
Assists General Manager with long-range operating goals, expansion efforts, and implementation of new and advanced technology.
Identifies and shares training opportunities for staff to build and improve skills.
Works with General Manager and supervisors on a daily basis.
Delivers progress and production reports to team members as requested.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and managerial skills.
Thorough understanding of the policies and practices used in the cutting and manufacturing division.
Ability to set long-term goals and communicate them to others.
Ability to motivate and organize multiple efforts to accomplish goals.
Efficient on Microsoft office products, which includes being proficient on excel spreadsheet application.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods are sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
Must be able to traverse manufacturing areas quickly.
Must be able to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, lay, and squat to maintain equipment.
